Tipperary Cumann na mBunscol would like to wish all schools the very best for the 2012/2013 School Year. Our Football Competitions commence in the next couple of weeks.

Tipperary Cumann na mBunscol would like to wish Declan Ryan, Michael Gleeson & Tommy Dunne the best for the future as their two year term with the Tipp Senior Hurlers has come to an end. Declan Ryan invests considerable time in the local schools in his parish & continued to do so when he had the busiest of jobs with the Tipp Senior hurlers.

My Favourite GAA Moment by Linda Murphy, Ballylooby N.S.

It was one wet day over my Easter holidays and my Mam and I decided to look at the Tipperary Camogie website. My Mam spotted an entry form for 15 players to go and play in Croke Park. I entered the competition and sent it away. If we won my biggest dream would be to rum out the tunnel like all the Tipperary players do. A few weeks later my Mam was reading her emails and spotted that she had got an email back, we had won the competition! We were so thrilled! Our club was also thrilled. We ordered a bus to get there. The day came and we got up and went to get the bus, we were so excited and couldn't wait to play in Croke Park. When we arrived we had a lovely tour of Croke Park. After that we went to the museum. It was then time for us to play, we ran out of the tunnel excitedly. We took plenty of pictures. We played three teams; they were from Clare, Galway and Cork. After a brilliant day and getting to play on the Croke Park pitch we headed home to Tipperary. My highlight of the day was that my dream came through, I ran through that famous tunnel and lots, lots more. :)
