TIPPERARY ALLIANZ CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL FOOTBALL FINALS
Three days of finals have already taken place between The Ragg and Cashel. A massive thank you must be extended to both venues who allowed finals to go ahead despite weather conditions. The remainder of the Football Finals will take place this week in Cashel. Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol officers would like to wish everyone involved the very best of luck in their finals. Go n-éirí an t-ádh libh!!!
FOOTBALL FINAL REPORTS
All schools involved in the football final are asked to send team photos and a match report to Paudie Fahey (PRO Football) at paudiefahey@hotmail.com by Friday 5th December. Please note the change of date to accommodate finals that were delayed. These will be published in local Tipperary papers and online. The reports are a great celebration of the achievement of all involved, a highlight for players to see their names in print and provide a showcase of all the great work done by teachers and coaches in schools all around the county.
RULE CHANGE REMINDER
All schools are reminded that 45s can now be taken from the ground or from the hand in football. This rule was voted in at Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol A.G.M. in January 2014.

MOUTHGUARDS
As the football season begins schools are reminded of the importance of mouthguards for all children participating in Cumann na mBunscol matches. Both boys and girls playing in Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Gaelic football fixtures must wear mouthguards without exception at all times. It would be advised that schools would also use mouthguards when training to allow children to get used to using them and to follow best practice.
REPORTER OF THE WEEK
Schools are reminded and encouraged to send news and updates of their progress in the football championships for the coming season. Reports can be a great writing topic for the classroom and are an opportunity for children to see their work published for a wider audience. In the pre-season championship build-up children could be given the chance to tell about their own training regiments and tips for the coming championship. A Reporter of the Week will be chosen and their work included in the weekly report. Please ensure all reports are a single paragraph in Verdana 10 type. All submissions should be proof-read by the teacher before submission.
