Our Hurling Competitions commence after Easter. We wish all schools a peaceful Easter Break. We look forward to receiving many reports on these games from children after Easter.

Please send on your €30.00 annual registration fee for 2013 with your order. To participate in playing activities and/or the equipment scheme the €30.00 registration must be paid. This is an annual fee which registers a school for a calendar year. Please give a separate €30.00 cheque for registration.

Our Equipment Night takes place in Scoil Ailbhe Primary School, Thurles, between 5.00pm and 8.00pm on Friday, 22ndMarch, 2013.

It’s the time of year to begin the Selection Process for the Primary Game. This year Tipperary plays Kerry in the Munster Senior Football Championship, in Killarney, on Sunday the 26th of May. Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol will field a Primary Game Football and Ladies Football team to play their Kerry counterparts at half time in that game. In the Munster Senior Hurling Championship Tipperary play Limerick, in the Gaelic Grounds Limerick, on Sunday the 9th of June. Tipperary Allianz Cumann na mBunscol will field a Primary Game Hurling and Camogie team to play their Limerick counterparts at half time in that game. Each school is entitled to send one child to each Selection Day. Schools are not allowed send more than one child from their school to a Selection Day in a specific discipline. This rule must be strictly adhered to. However schools may send a different player to each of the trials in the four disciplines – Football, Ladies Football, Camogie and Hurling. This year in Camogie only one child per school may be sent to a Selection Day. (Last year 2 players were allowed to be sent). The Primary Game Player Entry Forms must be printed off, filled in FULLY and posted to the Co-ordinator in each discipline. The Co-ordinator and the closing date of entry is given with them. The trials will cover the 4 Divisions in Tipperary: West, South, Mid, North.

· Please check your emails regularly because if Venues have to be changed at the last minute, due to bad weather rendering a pitch un-playable, the only way we can get that information to the schools will be via email.
